Features include: multiversion concurrency control, which allows multiple
read/write processes to occur simultaneously, thereby improving database
concurrency for applications; archive logging, which provides point-in-time
recovery for multiple databases running on multiple servers, thus
increasing data integrity and recovery capabilities for applications; and
compiler heterogeneity, through interoperability among clients using
different compilers, thus allowing for easier deployment of applications
across a distributed environment. Runs on a LAN using Unix, Windows,
Windows NT, and OS/2. Pricing starts at $3500 per seat, depending on
