LegacyLink is a customized connectivity application that lets organizations
link their Web servers to legacy applications running on host mainframes
and minicomputers. Access to host legacy data is facilitated using an
existing terminal emulation connection. Organizations can reduce data
transfer costs and eliminate repetition errors while offering graphical
user interfaces into previously non-GUI applications. Lets employees and
members of the public worldwide perform basic business-processing tasks
via the Web, such as making a reservation, ordering merchandise, and searching
inventory. Employees may conduct these tasks through a secure corporate
Intranet.ÄàòàÎáúÿâëåíèÿ=1996
