A client/server, SQL RDBMS engine, library, and DLLS used from C and C++
programs. Features include multiplatform client/server, TCP/IP support,
portability across platforms, row-level locking, cost-based query
optimization, C character-string support, and an import/export facility
directly in SQL. Includes three programming interfaces: a set of C++ class
definitions for access to all SQL features in a C++ programming style; a
complete C application program interface with C syntax (without
precompilation); and a standard C precompiler that provides program
portability from or to other relational databases. Comes with comprehensive
examples and command-line interactive SQL, with source code. Also available
in a standalone multiuser version. Client and servers for SCO Unix: $569;
