A free-form database that combines database, text retrieval, and
word-processor functions, and runs in a single-user or network environment.
Manages several types of information, including names and addresses with
random notes, research and marketing information, bibliographies, and
structured databases. Handles structured and unstructured data. Fields can
be defined before, during, or after data entry. Queries can range from
simple searches for all records containing a certain word or phrase, to
sophisticated reports using logical and mathematical relationships.
Supports Boolean logic, arithmetic functions, proximity searches,
hypertext, linked graphics, and comparison with numbers, dates, and times.
Contains a complete command language and can be used as a development tool.
Supports global and local variables, controlled data entry, and nested
subroutines. Runtime versions are available with the Developer's Edition.
