This RDBMS consists of DDE, form and table design and access, report
and menu design, query generation, SQL access and data base gateways.
Presents RAD (Rapid Application Development) and its ability to
define, combine and modify application components. Includes access
activities for data access through standard data base objects such as
tables, forms and reports. Table access presents data in row/column
format. Inserts or updates multiple records at the same time. Form
access enters, retrieves and revises data through custom forms created
in the Form Design activity. Includes over 180 evaluator functions.
Table design allows up to 255 columns per table, up to two billion
records per table, 12 data types, text fields up to 255 characters and
up to 16 parts per index. Form design uses icon-based form building
tools and supports scroll bars, push buttons and repeating boxes that
present records in list format. Allows up to 2,048 objects per form,
including bitmap images. Report design allows for customized headers
and footers, up to 64,770 characters per record and subtotaling up to
eight levels. Menu design provides customized menus that provide
access to forms, reports, utilities and SQL scripts, and customizable
