Based on an agreement with Microsoft, Visigenic has the exclusive rights to
license and port ODBC to all non-Windows platforms. As of this writing,
Visigenic has ported the Microsoft ODBC 2.0 SDK to Solaris, SunOS, HP-UX,
IBM AIX, SCO, Macintosh, and OS/2. With Visigenic SDKs, you can write
database drivers or database-independent C and C++ applications, and deploy
them across platforms. With ODBC, applications can communicate
simultaneously with multiple databases from different vendors -- all
through a single, standard interface. The ODBC SDK comes with the Driver
