A key component of the Sybase System 10 product family. Provides an
architecture for the delivery of data and transactions throughout
enterprises with dispersed and heterogeneous hardware and data sources.
Offers a reliable store-and-forward capability. Local sites can continue
operations using their copy of the data, even when a primary site is down.
Copies are automatically resynchronized after failure. Includes Replication
Server Manager, a GUI-based systems management tool that lets
administrators manage and monitor (from a single site) all distributed
components of the enterprise client/server replication environment.
