Offers Sybase SQL Server connectivity from any Windows client, to UNIX
or VMS host. Makes minicomputer and mainframe SQL Server DBMS appear
as local application. Provides support for DB-Library, stored
procedures and triggers, and browsing. Provides cursors and
DB-processes, and configuration options transactions models for
      application design.Îïèñàíèå-Ò
Interfaces between applications and SYBASE DB-Library. SYBASE
DB-Library is conduit through which program communicates with SQL
Server, providing any Microsoft Windows application that uses Gupta's
SQL/API with complete access to SQL Server. Enables application to
use any TRANSACT-SQL function, providing full support for stored
procedures and triggers from within users application. Front-end
result sets enable user to build graphical applications that include
forward and backward scrolling through results of query. SQL Server
does not natively support backward scrolling, but with front-end
result sets enabled, these applications can be built. Provides two
transaction models for application design, cursors and db-processes,
and configuration options for both. Provides feature for mapping SQL
Servers db-process-based model to cursor-based model. Both models
represent connection between client and server. Cursor model builds
graphical applications that display and coordinate many windows of
data at one time. Db-process requires each connection to be committed
separately. SQL databases describe data in collection of system
tables. Structure of each system catalog varies for different SQL
database systems. Provides complete facilities for error processing
within an application. Returns messages from SQL Server database
server and errors from DB-library on client side, as well as messages
      from SQLRouter/SQL Server itself.ÎïåðàòèâÏàìÿòü=2 MB
