dBase IV and dBase III Plus. Includes network capabilities. Provides
built-in features that make the program 100 percent dBase compatible.
Supports Visual Basic and popular C compilers such as Microsoft,
Borland, Zortech and TopSpeed. Provides the user with control over
routines to create, read, write and update the dBase DBF database
files, MDX and NDX index files, and DBT memo files of dBase IV. Can
also handle the DBF, NDX, and DBT files of dBase III Plus.
Additionally offers the ability to develop applications that run under
Microsoft's Windows, OS/2 and popular DOS extenders. Provides a
portable, multi-platform database system and a high-level interface.
Lets the user create standalone programs and without purchasing dBase.
Provides access to records in a DBF file by its record numbers.
Provides access to keys in MDX and NDX files which, in turn, provide
direct access to records. Sorts an entire DBF file by a single
