A Windows-based application development environment that combines business
and application modeling with rapid visual development. Integrates workflow
modeling, BPR, data analysis, and visual development in an environment that
allows object reuse for the development of client/server applications.
Components include: 1) KEY:Advise, a deliverables-driven, online
process/project management tool for use by project teams on business
modeling and application development projects; 2) KEY:Assemble, which
develops high-performance client/server applications with, visual-based
techniques, either as a standalone solution or through integration with
KEY:Analyze or KEY:Model; 3) Key:Components, which provides a library of
reusable application objects or components for use with KEY:Assemble; 4)
KEY:Empower for PowerBuilder or Visual Basic, which lets PowerBuilder and
Visual Basic users develop applications based on the business understanding
gained from KEY:Model, and provides database design and DLL generation
capabilities; and 5) KEY:Model, which provides comprehensive workflow
modeling and BPR techniques, letting users gain a more thorough
understanding of business requirements prior to developing applications.
