RDBMS based on industry-standard SQL. Creates and maintains
databases. Designs custom screens and menus. Produces
    custom-formatted reports. Run-time version avail.Îïèñàíèå-Ò
A suite of five applications development tools: a forms package, a
report writer, an interactive SQL editor, a menu builder and an
interactive schema editor. Each of the tools share a common interface
and menu options, allowing users to develop complete database
applications. With Perform, the custom screen generator/forms package,
novice users can build complex data entry screens with little prior
experience and no programming code to maintain. Developers can design
complex forms using columns from several database tables, multiple
field data displays and multi-screen forms to create an interactive
relationship between tables. A variety of data validation checks
prevent incorrect data entry. Ace, the relational report writer,
allows users to control and format the information that is returned
from an SQL query. Features include prompting for input at runtime,
passing parameters and high-level language controls, automatic page
headers, trailers and adjustable page layouts. The interactive SQL
editor allows experienced SQL users to write any SQL statement to be
processed by the database engine. The complete menu builder allows
creation of custom vertical menus without any programming and
integrates the pieces of the application, including tying together
forms, reports, SQL statements and other menus. The interactive
schema editor is menu-driven and assists in defining and modifying
database design, table structures and indexes.ÎïåðàòèâÏàìÿòü=640 KB
