An end user, data access, and reformatting tool with a query engine that
lets users selectively retrieve application data from any of the 24
natively accessed databases and file systems, then reformat and transfer
that data into popular PC desktop applications such as Lotus 1–2–3, Excel,
Word for Windows, WordPerfect, dBASE, ASCII, and others. Data can be
formatted for transfer as columnar output or mail-merged into
word-processing packages. Character, Windows, and Motif versions run in
DOS, VMS, OpenVMS, OSF/1, AIX, SCO, Open Desktop, SunOS, Solaris, Unix,
HP-UX, DG-UX, and so on, on more than 35 hardware platforms. Windows
