An object-oriented, multimedia application development environment and a
key component in Sybase's intermedia architecture for interactive
multimedia information systems. Provides visual tools for integrating with
Sybase SQL Server, DB2, Oracle RDBMSs, and Gain Interplay and the Sybase
Intermedia Server for interactive TV systems. With these tools, developers
can build interactive information delivery systems that combine the content
of multimedia with the flexibility of client/server computing. Business and
customer applications use point-and-click interfaces that combine text,
graphics, audio, and video with transaction data from SQL databases.
Platforms include Digital Alpha AXP OSF, HP 9000/800 and 700, IBM RS/6000
(also in Japanese), PC Windows NT (also in Japanese), Silicon Graphics, Sun
