Analysis and debugging tool for Oracle that helps users develop,
reengineer, and maintain databases and applications. DBView retrieves and
analyzes information about all objects in any Oracle version 6 or Oracle7
database. It then produces a complete listing of anomalies and bugs,
including potentially serious problems such as unresolved cross references
and invalid objects. Unresolved cross references are notoriously difficult
to find and can remain hidden until a critical point, when they cause the
database to crash. DBView also lists database links, wrapped source
objects, and many other invaluable analyses. DBView graphically shows
dependencies between objects by drawing intuitive dependency graphs in
which arrows depict relationships. From a graph, users can drill down to
details of the objects and their dependencies. Dependency graphs provide
important insight for reengineering a database, and form an integral part
of debugging and analysis. In addition, DBView uses a suite of
storage-management tools to show how objects are stored. Runs on Windows,
SunOS, Solaris, HP-UX, and IBM AIX. $2995.Ñòîèìîñòü=$2995
