Allows new or updated applications to be automatically deployed across
heterogeneous client/server environments. Using the capabilities of the
user's LAN or the Internet, the product deploys applications to the desktop
by checking either version information or file type using a built-in
scripting language that allows dependency checking and pre/post
installation procedures. To keep users in synch, the product can
automatically request software updates as part of the startup of any
application, thereby ensuring that users always have the latest version of
