Multi-user RDBMS and 4GL. Allows users to upload dBase applications
directly from PC to VAX without having to reprogram/redevelop them.
Includes concurrent processing, transparent access to existing RMS
files, report formatter, menu-driven interface, text-report writer and
keyboard macros. Includes Recital Library and Recital Turbo.
Compatible with FoxBase+, Clipper, dBase III Plus and dBase IV.Описание-Т 
A fourth generation application development environment (4GE). Its
client/server architecture is for open-systems oriented application
development and system migration. All of the 4GL tools can be used to
build applications and are fully portable to over 70 UNIX platforms.
The toolset includes an object-oriented active data dictionary,
event-driven triggers, before and after image journaling, screen
painter, report writer, pop-up and pull-down menuing, dialog boxes,
SQL, Fourth Generation Language and full network support. The package
includes a functional Open Applications Programming Interface (API)
for the incorporation of 3GL objects as built-in executables. It is
compatible with PC application development languages such as dBase IV,
dBase III+, FoxBase, FoxPro and Clipper. Applications and data may be
migrated to over 70 platforms without program modification. The
RECITAL/Rdb Server provides transparent read/update access to Rdb from
