An efficient high-performance database engine for C and C++ developers
(formerly DB_Vista). The low-level C-API includes more than 200 functions
for database manipulation and control. RDM facilitates creation of
databases in the relational model, the network model, or a combination of
the two. RDM supports transaction processing, and scales from DOS-based
computers up to Unix machines supporting hundreds of users. Royalty-free,
and source code is available. RDM supports the following operating systems:
DOS, Macintosh, Phar Lap 286, Windows 3.1, Windows NT, Windows 95, OS/2,
NetWare 3 and 4, HP-UX, SCO, Solaris, Sun OS/4, IBM AIX, Harris Nighthawk,
IRIX 5.2, VxWorks, Digital OSF/1, MIPS ABI, and QNX. RDM includes a copy of
Raima Object Manager, which provides a library of C++ classes that
encapsulate object storage and database navigation and provide a
consistent, object-oriented interface to RDM.ÊÎÌÏÀÍÈÈ
