Database library specifically designed for Microsoft's Visual Basic.
Combines features including database independence, QBE
query-processing with query optimization, automatic index selection
and relational views. Supports both dBase-format files and special
native formats. Provides on-line help and examples. Manages sets
without the need for SQL. QBE interface uses user-built forms built
in Visual Basic. Optimizes query and selects indexes. Supports dBase
III+ and dBase IV file formats, with memos, indexes and relations.
Allows user to add record-specific information to individual records
in a database without deciding upon record structure in advance.
Native-mode files support variable-length data in fields and allow
different structure for each record. dBase files support
variable-length data for memo fields. View Editor frees applications
from the need to know how databases are defined, or where they are
located. Supports DBF, DBT, NDX and MDX file formats. Memos can be
searched and sorted. Relations can be built using views. Supports
data types including currency and variable-length strings. Works
directly with Visual Basic data types. Converts variables from
database specific types to user defined types. Supports binary data.
Function calls are provided using a standard Windows DLL, All
functions which work with fields use the same syntax which supports
          variables and complete structures.ÎïåðàòèâÏàìÿòü=2 MB
